Warranty & Replacement Policy
LIMITED WARRANTY AND REPLACEMENT POLICY
We will always do our best to serve our customers and we stand by our manufacturer’s warranty to the original purchaser of our Workpods.
For our indoor Workpods (e.g. PAXTON & CUBE ranges), this means a three (3) year (36 month / 1,095 day) warranty on the main frame assembly, and a one (1) year (12 month / 365 day) warranty on incorporated electrical components from the date of delivery.
For our outdoor Workpods (e.g. PRESCOT, PIPER, PADSTOW ranges), this means a five (5) year (72 month / 1,825 day) warranty on the main frame, and a one (1) year (12 month / 365 day) warranty on structural wall panels, glass and door frames from the date of delivery. Any electrical work should be warranted by your licensed electrician.
WORKPOD can replace items or repair part of an originally supplied Workpod within the limit of our warranty from the date of delivery of the Workpod, but only if the item or part is defective or damaged, and only to the extent that such damage or defect was caused by WORKPOD or its suppliers prior to delivery of the Workpod to the designated location.
Failure to follow the Instructions provided or any related given information, improper installation, any abuse or misuse of the Workpod including unauthorised alterations, accidental or unintentional damage however caused by the buyer (i.e. water or fire damage, improper handling, removal, storage, transfer, or other misuse) will void this Limited Warranty.
WORKPOD will not be responsible for damage or loss caused to the product due to normal wear and tear or due to any repairs or alterations made to the product by the buyer or any third party.
WORKPOD is not responsible for damage caused by the location of the Workpod on or over inappropriate terrain, or by the use of improper replacement parts.
It is on the onus of the buyer when signing for receipt of products (Workpods) that you have inspected the products thoroughly for missing items, and for any and all damage.
Should an item be missing from delivery or damaged in transit we will work with you (the buyer) to deliver a replacement, to which you are required to notify us of the missing item or transit damage within 48 hours of a Workpod delivery.
For any claim under this Limited Warranty and Replacement Policy, the buyer must provide WORKPOD the original proof of purchase or invoice listing the relevant product.
In the case that the claim is approved, and WORKPOD determines that the item or part should be replaced, the buyer will allow WORKPOD considerable time to allow it to order and ship the replacement component.
For items deemed by WORKPOD to be missing or damaged in transit (i.e. identified within 48 hours of delivery), there will be no shipping charge applied. For all other claims accepted under this Limited Warranty and Replacement Policy, the buyer accepts to pay half (50%) of the shipping costs as determined by the freight handler payable up front.
Workpods are manufactured to order often in accordance with each individual client’s needs and you accept that refunds or returns are not possible.
The buyer acknowledges that some items or parts of the product may be subject to minor scratches or imperfections due to factory processes or shipping and that is considered normal for Workpods ordered and the buyer accepts this.
Apart from any consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law or part 8 of the Sale of Goods Act 1923 (NSW) (or both) all other warranties express or implied and whether arising by virtue of statute or otherwise are excluded. Note also our disclaimer in Section 13 - Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged within the terms of our Limited Warranty and Replacement Policy. If you need to make an exchange for the same item, send us an email info@workpod.com.au
