We have a range of colours / materials available for exterior frame, panel, interior panels, and flooring available. If you have something specific in mind, we will work with you to get the closest match possible. Window and door frames come in black, white or silver.

SETUP

All our Workpods come as a dis-assembled flat-pack for difficult access and relatively fast assembly (1-4 days). See more on assembly here.

This is how outdoor Workpods work for you

Standard Dimensions

Choose from a range of external widths (Small 2660mm / Medium 3810mm / Large 4960mm / Extra Large 6020mm) based on the standard dimension of our wall panels (1150mm wide) helping to minimise assembly effort. For example, the Small is 2 panels wide / 2 panels deep and an XL is 5 panels wide / 2 panels deep.

All have a standard height of 2600mm (ext) and a depth of 2500mm (ext) with the option of a maximum of 3500mm available for Large & Extra Large units.

Options and Customisation

In addition to our standard Workpod Outdoor inclusions, you also have access to a wide range of options to choose from to make this Workpod your own. To start, you can select frame and panel colours, external / internal cladding, flooring finish type and styles (see further down this page for more details).

The options to customise your Workpod don't stop there. For example you can:

  • Upgrade interior lighting and add exterior lights
  • Upgrade from toughened glass to double glazing, low-E and tinting options
  • Choose glass panel doors in various styles (swing, sliding, folding) also available in steel solid panel
  • Add extra GPO power sockets and CAT-5 integration
  • Include an internal wall to create a separate room

You can even customise the overall dimensions. If you have a requirement for your workspace, just ask.

However, there are some things that are best left to your local trade suppliers and partners, these include:

  • Air-conditioning, best organised locally for the warranty, same with solar
  • Electrical hard-wiring from your Workpod to mains power (certified electrician)
  • Plumbing fixtures and connections, if needed, best organised locally for the selection and installation
  • Ground levelling and supports, if needed, best resolved with a licensed builder and engineer advice
  • And council approval, if needed

Modular Assembly

The key advantage of the dis-assembled Workpod is its ability to be placed in hard to access places, places a pre-assembled office pod cannot go.

But don't be fooled, dis-assembled does not mean long build times. Most outdoor Workpods can be assembled in 3 to 4 days.

All our Workpods come with detailed and easy to follow assembly instructions to make assembly as fast and painless as possible.

Outdoor Workpods are also designed to be combined with other units (horisontally or vertically) to achieve a greater space with ease.

Things to know

Assembly

All our outdoor Workpods come delivered as a DIY flat-pack with detailed assembly guides, making them relatively easy to assemble with 3-4 people over a weekend (long weekend for a Large-XL).

You may wish to engage a local builder or carpenter to assemble for you. See more on our setup.

Colour options

We have a range of colour and material options available for external panels, steel trim, cladding, interior panels and flooring, see the PRESCOT Large as an example . The window frames are generally available in black, white or silver.

Optional extras

We have a range of options available for you to choose from and make this Workpod your own.

  • Upgraded Interior/Exterior lighting - 12V only
  • Wood grain exterior/interior cladding
  • Upgrade from PVC laminate to SPC timber engineered wood flooring
  • Upgrade from toughened glass to double window glazing
  • Glass panel windows in various options
  • Additional electrical plugs

Customisation

We are happy to work with you to customise any of our designs whether it be the size, materials, panels, or walls for glass. Please contact us with your requirements.

Exclusions

There are however a few items that we feel are best left to your own discretion, including:

  • Air-conditioning, best organised locally for the warranty
  • Solar, best organised locally for the warranty
  • Electrical hard-wiring from your house switchboard
  • Electrical switch board installation
  • 240v lighting
  • Plumbing

Payment terms

Payments may be made upfront or in three tranches with 70% deposit on invoice, 20% on shipment, and 10% on customs clearance.
